Medical Assistant

We are seeking a FULL-TIME dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in the specialty office setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and patient symptoms accurately.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are available.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures as instructed.
• Administer injections under the direction of healthcare providers.
• Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and scheduling of follow-up appointments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and clinic areas.
• Obtain MRI and medication authorizations as ordered by physican and/or extender.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a medical assistant or in a similar role in a healthcare setting.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or relevant experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
