Looking for a motivated Medical Assistant for a busy pediatric practice located in Kapahulu. We are looking for someone who has a great attitude, dependable, willing to learn, hardworking and has excellent interpersonal skills.

Compensation: Pay based on experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Should be detail-oriented and able to multi-task.

· Stock and maintain exam rooms and patient care areas.

· Assist physicians in exam rooms during examination and treatment

· Answer and triage patient calls, schedule appointments, and check in patients.

· Administer immunizations and medications.

· Should have knowledge in taking basic vital signs and use of computers and electronic medical records.

· Perform testing and tasks ordered by physician including but not limited to vision tests, strep tests, and flu tests.

· Input data into the computer to maintain office and patient records.

· Knowledge of insurance verification process and referrals is preferred but not required.

• EMR systems: 1 year (Required)
