What they need
GREAT OPPORTUNITY- only one office so no traveling is required, great hours, and an existing experienced staff.
We are a OB-GYN office, and offer a holistic approach to medicine.
We are hiring a medical assistant with front and back office experience.
Back office duties will include proficiently rooming patients, taking detailed histories with vitals and recording items in the EHR. Assist in exams, minor surgical procedures, convey test results, complete prescription requests including obtaining prior authorizations, give injections and draw blood.
Front office duties when covering will include the ability to check in patients, scan insurance cards, licenses and paper work into the EHR, collect copays and out of pocket expenses, and balance nightly deposit reports. This would also include data entry of daily router charges.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 per week
