Medical Assistant

Overview

Juanderful Aesthetics is seeking a dependable, professional, energetic Medical Assistant to join our growing aesthetics and trichology practice in Brookhaven, Georgia.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys patient care, aesthetics, hair restoration, wellness, and working in a boutique clinical environment. The Medical Assistant will support patient care, clinical procedures, treatment room preparation, documentation, infection control, and daily office operations.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, polished, detail oriented, comfortable learning new procedures, and committed to providing an exceptional patient experience.

Duties

• Greet patients professionally and assist with patient intake and preparation for services.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, medications, allergies, and other relevant patient information.
• Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments.
• Assist providers with aesthetic, trichology, hair restoration, skincare, and wellness procedures.
• Assist with treatments such as PRP hair restoration, microneedling, head spa services, body contouring, injectable procedure preparation, and other aesthetic services as trained and permitted.
• Perform phlebotomy and blood collection when required and within the employee's training and scope.
• Take high quality before and after photographs and maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Enter and update information in the electronic medical record system.
• Maintain treatment rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies according to infection control and safety standards.
• Assist with cleaning, disinfecting, sterilization, room turnover, and clinical supply preparation.
• Monitor inventory and notify management when medical, aesthetic, or office supplies need to be reordered.
• Provide patients with approved pre treatment and post treatment instructions.
• Assist with scheduling, patient communication, follow up calls, and other administrative responsibilities when needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
• Work closely with the Medical Director, Certified Trichologist, clinical staff, and administrative team to provide a smooth and professional patient experience.
• Participate in staff training and continue developing knowledge of aesthetics, trichology, hair restoration, skincare, and wellness services.

Qualifications

• Previous Medical Assistant experience strongly preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience is highly preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support or CPR certification preferred.
• Experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, medical aesthetics, medspa, hair restoration, wellness, or a specialty medical practice is a plus.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, infection control, and patient documentation.
• Comfortable using electronic medical records, computers, scheduling systems, and other office technology.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocols.
• Ability to learn new procedures and treatment protocols.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
• Must be dependable, punctual, organized, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
• Must be comfortable working in a growing practice where responsibilities may include both clinical and administrative duties.

Hiring Process

Selected applicants may be asked to complete a brief video introduction before being invited for an in person interview.

Candidates invited for an in person interview should arrive professionally dressed as instructed and prepared to discuss their clinical experience, patient care skills, reliability, and interest in medical aesthetics.

Employment is subject to a 90 day introductory probationary period.

Our goal is to provide knowledgeable, personalized care in a professional and welcoming environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 per week
