Medical Assistant – Job Duties

• Assist the provider during patient visits.
• Document accurately in paper charts for the provider.
• Assist with prescriptions and medication refills.
• Complete and follow up on prior authorizations.
• Assist with patient forms and paperwork.
• Carry out provider orders and instructions.
• Communicate with pharmacies, patients, and parents as needed.
• Ensure charts and paperwork are complete and signed when required.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Help maintain efficient patient flow in a fast-paced pediatric clinic.
• Be willing to cross-train and assist in other departments as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
