Medical Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Escort patient to exam rooms, interview patient, measure vital signs, such as blood pressure pulse temperature etc....
• Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls
• Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization as required
• Phlebotomy skills at least 2yrs experience.
• Ensure all related reports, labs and information is filed and available in patient chart prior to their appointment.
• Assist physician in exam room
• EKG
• Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
• Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
• Administer injections ordered by the physician
• CPR certified

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.37 - $18.86 per hour
