Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience from check-in to checkout
• Collect patient vital signs, medical histories, and current medications accurately and efficiently
• Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations, minor procedures, and X-ray imaging as needed
• Manage medical documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems with precision and confidentiality
• Support clinical operations by performing specimen collection, medication administration, and basic life support when required
• Conduct intake assessments, update patient records with ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and facilitate communication between patients and providers

Requirements

• Prior experience in outpatient clinics or hospital settings, particularly in dermatology, urgent care, or internal medicine preferred
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and patient care procedures across various specialties such as geriatrics, pediatrics (PICU), or medical-surgical units
• Hands-on experience with EHR systems for documentation and data management
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications in X-ray operation or medication administration are advantageous
• Familiarity with hospital environments including Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma centers enhances your candidacy
• Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence and teamwork
• Ability to handle fast-paced situations in emergency medicine or inpatient settings confidently
• Experience preforming pulmonary function test
