What they need
Our Internal Medicine and Primary Care Practice located in the Lutz / Land O’ Lakes area is seeking a Medical Assistant with strong Front Desk experience and some Back Office responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Answering phone calls and assisting patients courteously and efficiently
- Verifying insurance benefits and eligibility
- Obtaining authorizations and referrals as needed
- Scheduling patient appointments and managing the provider calendar
- Patient triage and intake
- Maintaining office logs and ensuring smooth office organization
- Performing clinical tasks such as injections, EKGs, and spirometry testing
Qualifications:
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
We are currently accepting applications for both Full-Time and Part-Time positions.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
