Job Description

Sinai Chicago is seeking a compassionate and organized Medical Assistant to support healthcare providers and patients in a clinical setting. This position assists with patient preparation, basic clinical tasks, documentation, and daily medical office operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and clinical procedures.
• Record vital signs and update patient information.
• Assist healthcare providers during patient visits.
• Collect and document patient information accurately.
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain supplies.
• Perform basic clinical and administrative duties.
• Schedule appointments and assist with patient communication.
• Update electronic health records as required.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Follow established clinical and safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant training or certification preferred.
• Previous healthcare or clinical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
• Strong communication and patient-service skills.
• Accurate documentation and computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy healthcare environment.
• Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.
