About Us

Bennett Institute of Urogynecology and Incontinence is a well-established Urogynecology private practice committed to providing exceptional care for women with pelvic floor disorders, urinary incontinence, and related conditions. We’re seeking an experienced, compassionate, and team-oriented Medical Assistant (MA) to support our clinical team and help deliver the highest standard of care.

About the Role

As a Medical Assistant in our specialized women’s health practice, you’ll work closely with our physician and clinical staff to support daily patient care operations. Because we’re a private practice, you’ll enjoy a friendly, collaborative environment with less time spent on system-wide administrative tasks and more focus on your patients and team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare exam and procedure rooms and assist with in-office procedures
• Collect and record vital signs, patient histories, and relevant medical information
• Communicate results of exams and tests to physician
• Provide patient education on procedures, treatments, and post-visit instructions
• Handle medication and supply inventory; restock and maintain clinical areas
• Assist with documentation and data entry in the EMR
• Collaborate with the clinical team to respond to patient inquiries and ensure an exceptional patient experience.
• Contribute to a warm, professional, and supportive patient experience

Qualifications

Education and Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred

Experience and Skills:

• Prior experience in women’s health, urology, or urogynecology is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right candidate
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Experience handling prior authorizations, insurance verification, and coordinating with pharmacies or payers is a plus
