Summary

As a Medical Assistant at PromptMD Urgent Care, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, assisting in delivering high-quality medical care to patients. This role is vital in ensuring efficient operations within our urgent care centers while contributing to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and preparing patients for examination.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed timely.
• Coordinate with lab and x-ray staff for efficient patient processing.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
• Support the administrative team with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety protocols.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of physiology and emergency medicine practices.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in urgent care or similar medical settings is a plus.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology is beneficial.
