Medical Assistant

A well-established plastic surgery practice is looking to add a highly motivated and energetic medical assistant to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will focus on delivering high level and individualized patient care.

This is a full time position, Monday-Friday.

Job Responsibilities:

• Introduce patients to our medical practice and efficiently prepare them for their visit
• Extensive phone and in-person communication with patients; reviewing pre-operative and post-operative care
• Assist with managing consultations, in-office medical procedures, laser procedures and drawing up medications
• Use company provided electronics to access and maintain medical records, input notes, photos etc.
• Keeping track of supply inventory and making sure supplies are adequately stocked and up to par
• Familiarizing yourself with surgical procedures, aesthetic treatments and services
• Act as a liaison between surgeon and patient; promote surgeon/surgical results and "the brand"
• “Hand-Hold” patients through their surgical decision process

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant in the state of New Jersey with minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience
• Plastic surgery/Aesthetics or dermatology experience preferred
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills amongst patients and colleagues
• Desire to grow with a team and within a company for a long period of time
