We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our cardiology team.

Job Description:

As a Certified Medical Assistant in our cardiology practice, you will support our healthcare providers in delivering top-notch patient care. Your role will be essential in facilitating patient visits, assisting with diagnostic tests, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations related to heart health

• Measure and record patients’ vital signs, ECGs, and other relevant data

• Conduct initial patient assessments and update medical histories

• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and necessary equipment for cardiac testing

• Educate patients about cardiovascular health, medications, and lifestyle modifications

• Collect and process lab specimens as per protocols

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality

Qualifications:

• Certification from an accredited medical assistant program

• Current CPR and First Aid certification

• Prior experience in cardiology or a similar clinical setting is preferred

• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular terminology and procedures is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems
