Medical Assistant

We are seeking a reliable, professional and detail oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both clinical and office responsibilities and who thrives in a patient centered environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Answer and route phone calls, schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Verify insurance coverage and assist with patient registration and intake
• Assist physician with patient examinations and in-office procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms
• Record vital signs, medical history and intake notes in the EMR system
• Provide patient education on treatments, procedures and aftercare instructions
• Support clinical team wtih wound care, dressing changes and stocking supplies
• Ensure a clean, safe and efficient clinical environment

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
• Strong communication, organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team
