POSITION : MEDICAL ASSISTANT

GRADE : GRADE G7D

EMPLOYMENT TYPE : PERMANENT

WORK LOCATION : LADANG ZAMRUD KAHANG, KLUANG

1. APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS

a. Possess a Diploma in Medical Assistant Studies from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH);

b. Registered with the Malaysian Medical Assistant Board (Lembaga Pembantu Perubatan Malaysia) and possess a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC);

c. Possess a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate or relevant emergency medical treatment qualification;

d. 1–3 years of working experience in the medical field. Experience working in a plantation clinic will be a strong advantage;

e. Willing to reside in the quarters provided within the plantation area.

2. JOB DESCRIPTION

a. Responsible for:

i. Conducting clinical examinations;

ii. Performing initial assessments and preliminary diagnosis;

iii. Collecting specimens for preliminary examination;

iv. Providing treatment for minor illnesses and medical conditions;

b. Responsible for providing patient care and carrying out medical procedures for treatment purposes at designated facilities;

c. Conduct and manage public health programmes, including screening programmes and early intervention/initial treatment for patients, particularly in public health and medical programmes;

d. Maintain and manage medical supplies, equipment, and clinic facilities;

e. Prepare purchase orders/requisitions for medicines, medical supplies, and related equipment;

f. Ensure the proper maintenance and availability of medicines, medical equipment, and clinic facilities;

g. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Assistant Plantation Manager, Plantation General Manager, or Senior Management from time to time.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
