Medical Assistant – Full Time / UniVida Medical Centers | Miami, FL

UniVida Medical Centers is seeking a compassionate, organized, and dependable Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Miami, Florida. The ideal candidate will support providers in delivering efficient, patient-centered care while helping create a welcoming and professional experience for every patient.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and assist healthcare providers during visits.
• Obtain and document vital signs and relevant patient information.
• Assist with clinical procedures and routine patient care as directed by the provider.
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain appropriate supplies.
• Support accurate documentation and electronic medical record workflows.
• Assist with scheduling, referrals, and coordination of patient care when needed.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and confidentiality procedures.
• Communicate with patients in a courteous, compassionate, and professional manner.
• Collaborate with providers and other team members to support efficient daily operations.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant training or certification preferred.
• Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Basic computer and electronic medical record skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach, particularly when working with older adults.
