Duties

• Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) accurately.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready for provider use.
• Support patient care activities including, specimen collection, and patient education on treatment plans.
• Manage medical documentation with medical records management, and detailed note-taking in EMR/EHR systems.
• Coordinate with hospital and other offices for procedures and appointments, ensuring smooth communication and workflow.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards.

Requirements

• Experience in medical office settings with familiarity in medical administrative support and clinical assisting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical-surgical procedures.
• Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records
• Ability to perform clinical tasks such as medication administration, specimen collection (phlebotomy), vital signs measurement, and intake assessments efficiently.
• Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatric patients

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
