Medical Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting clinical operations, ensuring patient comfort, and facilitating effective communication within the practice. Duties

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready for patient visits.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information accurately.
• Provide patient education and instructions as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating patient records, and handling paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients to facilitate understanding and comfort during visits.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, infection control standards, and confidentiality regulations.
• Support laboratory procedures, specimen collection, and processing as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant training program is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical support role is advantageous.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required to serve our diverse patient community effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients of all backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and clinical tasks.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, safety procedures, and healthcare regulations.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
