Medical Assistant

You will be the primary point of contact for a diverse patient population, making a direct impact on continuity of care in a supportive, team-oriented outpatient setting.

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. You will assist healthcare providers with daily clinical operations, manage patient flow, and ensure a patient-friendly, organized environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome, prepare, and room patients for clinical appointments.
• Assist providers with patient care activities within your authorized scope of practice.
• Coordinate patient follow-up, referrals, and chronic care management activities.
• Scan, organize, and maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
• Monitor, restock, clean, and sterilize medical equipment and clinical supplies.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to support efficient patient care.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Required: Appropriate LPN education/qualifications OR Medical Assistant education/training/experience, with the ability to perform duties within the applicable scope of practice.
• Preferred: Prior experience in a physician’s office or outpatient clinic; familiarity with patient rooming, referral coordination, infection prevention, and chronic care management.
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, compassionate customer service, and effective communication with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
