Medical Assistant

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced dermatology clinic. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in medical settings, ensuring efficient patient care and smooth operations.

Regular and reliable attendance is a must!

Duties:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
• Ability to work well with others to ensure patient satisfaction
• Update all patient medical, surgical, and family history, to include medications and allergies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date pathology logs
• Process prescription refills and prior authorizations
• Assist with a vast variety of surgical and cosmetic procedures
• Prep and assist with surgical procedures along with maintaining strict sterile techniques

Experience:

• Previous experience as a medical assistant required; dermatology preferred
• Able to multitask, stay calm under pressure, communicate effectively, be detail-oriented, and maintain organization is a must
• Familiarity with electronic medical records required, eClinicalWorks experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, spelling, and grammar
