Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care across various settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, and specialized departments. Duties

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and documenting medical histories.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical coding and terminology standards.
• Support the care of patients in specialized areas such as PICU, geriatrics, and medical-surgical units.
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries, educating patients on treatment plans, and ensuring a comfortable experience.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in both clinic and inpatient settings to enhance patient care delivery.
• Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy relevant to patient care.
• Proficiency in coding practices for accurate documentation and billing processes.
• Experience in various clinical settings including outpatient clinics, operating rooms (OR), and inpatient care environments.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and empathy.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred but not mandatory.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the medical field.

Pay: $17.18 - $19.12 per hour
