Duties

• Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and documenting symptoms accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments, ensuring comfort and safety throughout their visit
• Perform clinical tasks including help with Dr. Sumas' Med Spa
• Support physicians with medical documentation, ICD coding, and maintaining accurate medical records for compliance and billing purposes
• Manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-up communications, and coordination of care within outpatient or inpatient settings
• Conduct routine clinical assessments including physiology knowledge to monitor patient status effectively
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant with strong background in medical office management and patient service
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), EMR (Electronic Medical Records), ICD coding, and medical documentation standards
• We will train you on Neurosurgery
