Medical Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care within our facility, which operates as a Obgyn. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient service to ensure optimal care for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a comfortable environment for patients.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions.
• Updating chart with labs.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain cleanliness in the clinical environment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and systems relevant to patient care.
• Proficiency in medication administration techniques and protocols.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and care.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing patient records and documentation.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent is desirable but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
