Specialty Medical Practice

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our specialty medical practice. A background in medicine or previous medical office experience is preferred.

Work Schedule

• Monday–Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Thursday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 1 hr break coordinated with clinic flow.

Please note: Flexibility in work hours is minimal. Consistent punctuality and commitment to the schedule are required.

Duties

• Assist with patient intake by collecting vital signs, medical histories, and updating electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) accurately.
• Prepare examination rooms and assist healthcare providers during patient consultations and procedures.
• Perform medication administration under supervision to support diagnostic testing and treatment plans.
• Document medical information precisely, including ICD coding, medical terminology, and detailed notes for medical records.
• Support patient care tasks such as vital sign monitoring and physiology assessments.
• Manage administrative responsibilities like scheduling appointments, managing medical documentation, and maintaining organized patient records.
• Ensure compliance with basic life support protocols and assist in emergency situations within various clinical settings.

Skills

• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management for accurate documentation.
• Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations.
• Familiarity with medical assisting techniques including medication administration, and vital signs collection.
• Experience working in office outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Ability to coordinate efficiently with healthcare teams while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of medical office management.
