Medical Assistant

Seeking certified Medical Assistants who work well in a fast-paced environment. Must be ambitious, organized, outgoing, and willing to travel. Sorin Medical, P.C. is the largest private Cardiology practice in NY, with offices in all boroughs. Positions are open at 8718 Bay Parkway and 1110 Pennsylvania Avenue in Brooklyn, and 120 Wall Street, Manhattan.

As well as other locations in Upper Manhattan, Queens, and The Bronx.

Job Duties:

• Patient Intake and Vital Signs
• Phlebotomy
• Basic Patient care and instruction
• Medication Verification
• Patient flow direction
• Exam Room restock and setup
• Front desk work, as needed

Required:

• Full certification in Phlebotomy, EKG, Vital Signs, Injections, etc.
• Certificate of Medical Assistant from an Accredited school

Special Consideration:

• Fully Bilingual in Cantonese, Mandarin (Other languages of course accepted)
• Prior knowledge of EMR systems preferred

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift ( 7AM-3:30 PM, 8AM-4:30PM, 9AM-5:30PM)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
