Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate bilingual Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including outpatient clinics, urgent care facilities, and hospitals. This position involves working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth operation of the medical practice and the well-being of our patients.

Duties

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures in outpatient settings.
• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, documenting medical histories, and ensuring they are comfortable.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.
• Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers to enhance the overall patient experience.
• Assist in the management of clinic operations, including scheduling appointments and coordinating follow-up care.
• Provide support for geriatric patients by understanding their unique needs and ensuring appropriate care.

Requirements

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Experience in a hospital or outpatient environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient care best practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is an asset.
• A commitment to providing compassionate care to all patients, particularly those in urgent or critical situations.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
