Orchard Park Pediatrics is a well-established, growing pediatric practice looking to expand our team and hire Medical Assistants!

We are seeking friendly, dependable, and compassionate individuals who can multitask while working collaboratively and efficiently within our OPPeds family.

Taking a gap year before medical school, PA school, nursing school, or another healthcare program? This is a great opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a pediatric office, work alongside healthcare professionals, and build skills for your future career. Previous medical office experience is preferred, but motivated candidates who are eager to learn are encouraged to apply.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Obtain patient vital signs, including manual blood pressures.
• Administer medications as permitted by training, credentials, and applicable requirements.
• Assist providers as needed during patient visits and examinations.
• Maintain a compassionate, professional, and patient-centered demeanor.
• Help maintain an efficient workflow in a busy pediatric office.
• Work collaboratively with the OPPeds team to provide excellent care to our patients and families.

Education and/or Training

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous medical office experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Medent EMR system is a plus.
• Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Dependable, flexible, and willing to work as part of a team.

Schedule Requirements

Applicants must have flexible availability to work a variety of early weekday morning hours, early evening hours, and occasional Saturday mornings. Availability to cover shifts during staff vacations is also required.

Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
