Medical Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team within primary care medicine and women's health medical practice. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent patient service abilities, and a thorough understanding of medical procedures and terminology.

Duties

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Prepare patients for examinations.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including coding for billing purposes.
• Answer phones, schedule patients, check in patients.
• Provide support to patients by addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain clean office environment.

Skills

• Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
• Critical thinking skills for analyzing and resolving clinical and administrative challenges.
• Proficiency in taking vital signs accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited Medical Assistant program
• High school or GED graduation required
• Medical assisting experience in OBGYN is strongly preferred
• Experience in an medical doctor office is preferred

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
