Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Medical Assistant to join our dynamic small healthcare team. In this vital role, you will support clinical operations by providing exceptional patient care, assisting healthcare providers, and managing administrative tasks within a medical environment. Your expertise will help ensure smooth clinic flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality patient experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work part time or full time in internal medicine Practice contributing to improved health outcomes for our patients. We do not require fully experienced person . we will train you onsite. Our training is paid.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in and intake procedures
• Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature.
• Prepare patients for examinations by documenting medical history and current symptoms accurately in electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems)
• Manage medical documentation ICD coding, and medical records management, help with medical billing and coding
• Support administrative functions such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient files, and coordinating referrals or follow-up care and prior authorization.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control standards and safety protocols.
• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant with a strong background in medical office management and patient service
• Certification in Medical Assistance required.
• Familiarity with ICD coding, medical documentation standards, and electronic health records management is essential

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
