Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Collect and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems accurately, including documentation of patient information, medical history, and treatment plans.
• Prepare exam rooms with necessary supplies and ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Facilitate patient service by checking in patients, updating medical histories, and answering basic inquiries.
• Maintain and update medical records with accurate and current information in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, processing paperwork, and managing correspondence.
• Ensure proper handling of medical documentation to support billing and insurance processes.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures within the clinical environment.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Proficiency in computer skills
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records and documentation.
• Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive patient experience.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
