Medical Assistant

Job Summary:
Rheumatology Associates is seeking a dedicated full-time Medical Assistant to join our specialty practice. The successful candidate will support patient care by performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in ensuring efficient patient flow and delivering high-quality care to individuals with diverse symptoms. The ideal candidate will be dependable, flexible, and committed to assisting both patients and staff in achieving optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Triage patient calls and schedule appointments efficiently
• Assist healthcare providers with injections and other procedures
• Take and record patient vital signs accurately
• Review and document patient symptoms and medical histories
• Support administrative tasks such as maintaining patient records and managing correspondence
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations
• Provide compassionate patient care and address patient inquiries professionally

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant diploma or degree from an accredited program is required
• Proven dependability and flexibility in a clinical setting
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Prior experience in a rheumatology or specialty practice is preferred but not mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.94 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
