Duties

• Take and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to monitor patient health status.
• Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems by documenting medical histories, treatment notes, medication administration records, and ICD coding for billing purposes.
• Support medical office management tasks including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and maintaining medical records with precision.
• Assist with medication administration under supervision when applicable and ensure compliance with safety standards such as Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Facilitate communication between patients and providers by answering questions about procedures or medications and providing excellent patient service.

Experience

• Prior experience in medical office settings with a strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation practices, and EHR/EHR management systems.
• Hands-on experience in clinical environments such as hospital medicine, urgent care centers, or specialty clinics like family medicine or internal medicine.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR is required; additional certifications related to specific specialties are a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
