*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Family Medicine team. Our practice includes two physicians; Dr. William H. St.Martin who has been practicing in Houma for over 25 years, and his son Patrick St. Martin, a Family Medicine physician who also specializes in Sports Medicine.
*Responsibilities*
Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
Perform medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
Utilize knowledge of medical coding for accurate billing and insurance purposes
Provide patient service by answering inquiries and ensuring a comfortable environment
*Requirements*
Possess a certification or diploma in Medical Assisting
Ability to work 8-5, Monday-Friday
*Compensation*
- Starting $13/hr; increase with experience
