Medical Assistant – Assisted Living

Lakeside Assisted Living is looking for a dependable and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team!

This position will work closely with our nurse and residents, helping provide support with appointments and day-to-day healthcare needs.

Responsibilities:

• Accompany residents to medical appointments
• Help coordinate and prepare residents for appointments
• Assist the nurse with various duties and resident needs
• Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare providers as needed
• Help maintain accurate documentation and follow facility procedures
• Provide compassionate, respectful care and support to our residents

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant experience or training preferred
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with seniors
• Able to work independently while also being part of a team
• Must be able to pass a fingerprint/background check
