About the Role:
Busy hand surgery clinic in Mesa seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. This is a fast-paced environment where flexibility, teamwork, and strong communication skills are essential. Our physicians take trauma call, and schedules may change — we need someone who can stay organized, calm, and efficient under pressure.

What You’ll Do:

• Room patients, take vitals, and assist providers with exams and procedures
• Perform dressing changes, suture/staple removal, and apply/remove splints or casts
• Prepare and clean exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and restock supplies
• Complete referrals, forms (FMLA/disability), and chart documentation
• Help manage patient flow and ensure a positive experience

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical Assistant Diploma
• CPR certification
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proficient with EMR systems, Microsoft Word & Excel
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical setting

Preferred:

• CMA certification
• 1+ year MA experience (orthopedics, hand surgery, or wound care a plus)
