Medical Assistant/C-Arm Tech

• Travel required between clinics.
• Patient care including vitals, procedure assistance, completing medical history, collecting copays, verifying insurance, processing medical information
• Greet, check in, and check out patients in person/telehealth appointments
• Professionally assist doctors, staff, visitors, and patients.
• Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner and complete accurate documentation of phone calls.
• Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff, and patient information.
• Schedule appointments between doctors and patients.
• Liaise between medical departments with discretion and professionalism
• Adhere to policy and procedures during all activates.
• Assist with admissions/treatments.
• Insurance verifications. Online/over the phone.
• Assist back office staff as needed.
• Scanning all patient documents into patient charts.
• Billing liaison between billing department, office manager, and patient
• Handling of all incoming and outgoing referrals.
• Handling of all incoming and outgoing imaging.
• Handling of all incoming and outgoing medical records.
• Authorizations for procedures and medications using a variety of portals.
• Prepping for procedures
• Answering phone calls, assisting patients, sending out tasks to providers
• Scheduling appointments, procedures
• Record requests
• Sending out cardiac clearances
• Creating labs and sending out.
• Cross trained between front and back office.
• Checking in patients
• Checking out patients
• Sending orders
• Sending referrals
• Sending labs
• Requesting records
• Requesting imaging
• Working on a variety of logs
• Working in the OR for pain management procedures assisting with C-Arm

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
