Certified Medical Assistant

Locations: Freehold and Hamilton, NJ, with coverage at our future Neptune, NJ office. Travel between locations is required.

Innovative Spine and Pain is seeking a dependable, certified Medical Assistant to support our providers and help deliver excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and update medical histories, medications, and allergies.
• Complete patient intake and accurately document information in the electronic medical record.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Handle patient calls and relay clinical concerns to the appropriate provider.
• Assist with urine drug screening, specimen collection, and processing according to office protocols.
• Maintain supplies, clean equipment, and follow infection control procedures.
• Coordinate with providers and office staff to keep patient care running smoothly.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant certification is required.
• Previous medical office experience preferred; pain management experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and work well with a team.
• Reliable transportation and availability to work at all listed locations.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
