Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for submitting medical claims to insurance companies and ensuring timely reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Utilize medical records systems to accurately submit claims
• Handle medical collections and follow up on outstanding accounts
• Maintain knowledge of medical coding such as DRG, ICD-9, and ICD-10
• Process billing for medical services rendered
• Communicate with medical offices to obtain necessary information
• Verify patients' insurance coverage and eligibility
• Utilize medical terminology in coding procedures

Experience

• Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred
• Proficiency in medical billing software and systems
• Knowledge of medical coding standards and practices
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
