Medical Biller/Coder/Office Specialist - Remote EHR Software Consultant (Part-time)

About the role

Folio is hiring experienced medical billing, coding, and health-information professionals for a short-term, fully remote, paid project. If you work in EHR, billing, or clearinghouse software every day, we want your hands-on expertise. You'll demonstrate real-world software workflows in realistic replicas of the applications you already know: there will be no patient data or clinical decisions involved.

This is a flexible, work-from-home project you can do around your current schedule.

What you'll do

• Walk through and demonstrate everyday workflows in the software you already use
• Share your practical, hands-on knowledge of how the tools work in a real billing or medical office

Who should apply

• Medical billers and medical coders
• Medical records / health information (HIM) staff
• Prior authorization, revenue cycle, practice management, and medical office / front-office staff
• Certifications a plus but not required (e.g., CPC, CCS, CCA, CPB, RHIT, RHIA)
• Several years of hands-on experience with one or more of the systems above
• Must be located in the United States

Details

• ~10 hours per week, with hours flexible and adjustable week to week
• 100% remote
• Start date: mid-September
• Paid hourly on a contract basis ($25/hr)

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 per week
