Lead a busy medical centre and make a real difference

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Medical Centre Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of Gain Health Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced healthcare or operational manager to take ownership of practice performance, lead a multidisciplinary team and work closely with clinical leadership to deliver high-quality, accessible care for our patients.

You will play a key role in creating a positive workplace culture, supporting our clinicians and wider team, improving operational performance and ensuring the practice continues to deliver excellent patient care.

About the role

As Medical Centre Manager, you will have responsibility for the overall operational performance of the medical centre. Your role will include:

• Leading, supporting and developing the practice team
• Managing day-to-day operations and ensuring the practice runs efficiently
• Working closely with clinical leadership to support quality improvement and patient outcomes
• Managing recruitment, onboarding, performance and employee relations
• Monitoring financial performance, budgets, revenue and expenditure
• Identifying opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and patient access
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies and healthcare standards
• Supporting health and safety and risk management
• Managing practice systems, processes and continuous improvement initiatives
• Building strong relationships with clinicians, staff, patients and external stakeholders
• Overseeing facilities, equipment and building maintenance
• Using data and performance information to identify trends, manage risks and drive improvement

About you

You will be a confident and capable manager who enjoys working in a busy environment and is comfortable balancing people, performance and operational priorities.

You will bring:

• Proven experience in operational or people management, preferably within healthcare
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience managing budgets, financial performance or business operations
• A strong understanding of HR, recruitment and employee management
• The ability to analyse information, identify issues and implement practical solutions
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands
• A commitment to quality improvement, compliance and patient-centred care
• The confidence to work independently while collaborating effectively with clinical and support teams
• A positive, proactive and solutions-focused approach
• High levels of integrity, reliability and professionalism

Experience in primary healthcare or a medical centre environment will be highly regarded.
