Job Responsibilities

• Determining the provider and keying the information into the system and accurately apply, differences in coding requirements for various payers, clients and state programmers.
• Ensure number of charts in batch equals to total received from clients.
• Undertakes denial follow-up and appeals work wherever required.
• Received and reviewed charge documents from sites.
• Ensured charge information provided is acceptable and perfect.
• Abstracted CPT-4 and ICD-9-CM from medical records.
• Interpreted medical records and assigned suitable diagnostic and procedural codes.
