Medical Coder

Job Purpose

The Coding executive will be responsible for accurately coding medical records ensuring compliance with all relevant coding guidelines and regulations.

Education :

Any Graduation from life science background.

Experience/Qualification :

· Certification from AAPC or AHIMA (e.g., CPC, CCS).

· Hand on experience for 2-5 yrs. in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding.

· Expertise of healthcare billing and reimbursement processes.

· Proficiency with coding software and electronic medical records (EMR).

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

E/M Coding

Certifications (If Any)

Certification from a recognized coding organization such as AAPC or AHIMA (e.g., CPC, CCS) is preferred.

Ø Essential Skills / Aptitude:

· MS office and good typing skills

· Knowledge of Coding Systems – Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS.

· Attention to Detail – Ability to review medical records meticulously and assign accurate codes.

Key Responsibilites :

· Review and analyze medical records to identify relevant diagnoses and procedures.

· Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on medical documentation.

· Ensure accurate and timely submission of coded data for billing and reimbursement purposes.

· Collaborate with healthcare providers and billing staff to clarify documentation and coding queries.

· Stay updated with the latest coding guidelines, payer policies, and regulatory changes.

· Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.

· Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
