STRICT REQUIREMENTS

• At least 2 years of Professional Fee (Profee) Medical Coding experience — REQUIRED
• Active CPC, CCS-P, COC, or CCS certification
• College graduate of BS Nursing or a Medical Allied course
• Strong experience in Cardiology Coding or another relevant specialty
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS Level II, E/M, and modifier coding
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, disease processes, medical terminology, and cardiac devices
• Experience in invasive and noninvasive cardiology coding, including electrophysiology, cardiac devices, cardiothoracic, and vascular procedures
• Familiarity with Epic or other professional fee coding systems
• Must be willing to work from home
• Subject to business approval

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for experienced Medical Coders with strong Professional Fee coding knowledge to support accurate coding across cardiology services and other relevant specialties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS Level II, E/M, and modifier codes.
• Code office and hospital E/M services, consultations, cardiovascular evaluations, critical care, and follow-up visits.
• Review cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, diagnostic testing, and device monitoring records.
• Code diagnostic procedures, including ECGs, echocardiography, stress testing, Holter and event monitoring, and vascular studies.
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with applicable coding guidelines.
• Support multispecialty Professional Fee coding operations.

SALARY PACKAGE
