Job Overview

MedAorticx HealthTek is looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated Part-Time CPC Trainer to train aspiring medical coders and prepare students for the AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) examination.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of US medical coding guidelines, practical coding experience, and the ability to explain complex coding concepts in a simple and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom training for students preparing for the AAPC CPC examination.
• Teach ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding.
• Explain Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, and Pathophysiology.
• Teach E/M coding, medical documentation, coding guidelines, and modifiers.
• Guide students through practical coding scenarios and CPC practice questions.
• Conduct mock tests, assess student performance, and provide feedback.
• Clarify students’ doubts and support their CPC exam preparation.
• Help students develop a strong foundation in US medical coding.

Eligibility Criteria

• Valid AAPC CPC certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years of US medical coding experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II.
• Good communication and teaching skills.
• Previous medical coding training experience is an added advantage.
• Ability to conduct in-person classes at our Coimbatore training center.

Compensation

Negotiable based on experience, subject knowledge, and teaching expertise.
