TrueNorth Health Center, located in Santa Rosa, California, is seeking a skilled individual with outstanding organizational, accounting and communication skills, to serve the role of a full-time Medical Concierge for our busy health center. This role requires living in Sonoma County, CA.

TrueNorth Health Center is a residential health education program, offering an alternative approach to the restoration and maintenance of optimal health. We have been established in Sonoma County for over 39 years, and operate an inpatient clinic housed in a 40,000+ square-foot, 70-bed facility. We offer an integrative medical approach to evaluate and treat a variety of health conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, autoimmune disorders, and dietary issues. Our team of experts includes: Medical Doctors, Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Naturopaths, Psychologists, and Research Scientists. We specialize in medically supervised fasting and the provision of a health-promoting diet, derived from whole, plant foods, free of added salt, oil and sugar. Participants come to fast and detoxify, lose weight, and make dietary and lifestyle changes.

Job Description:

We have an immediate opening for one full-time Medical Concierge. The concierge role is the first point of contact for inpatients at TrueNorth. The ideal candidate for this position will feel at ease receiving and responding to questions from patients, and can pivot quickly between administrative work and direct interaction with patients while still managing their time effectively and work independently.

Duties Include:

• Checking patients in and out and orienting patients to TrueNorth.
• Preparing and auditing arrival and departure bills.
• Scheduling and monitoring inpatient appointments throughout their stay.
• Coordinating with the scheduling department and clinical staff to address room changes and visit extensions when appropriate.
• Serving as an overall liaison between the clinical and support staff to effectively resolve patient concerns as they arise.
• Representing TrueNorth, giving tours, and answering general questions as necessary for walk-in visitors.
• Resonate with TNH mission in all interactions with patients, families, and all members of the health care team. Must actively practice healthy diet and lifestyle habits.
• Other duties as assigned.

Extra Points for:

• Experience in the Healthcare or Hotel/Hospitality fields.
• An interest in, or in learning about: health/nutrition and a whole, plant-food diet.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation is $25 per hour for a full-time position, depending on the skill set and professional experience of the candidate.
• PTO plan providing 1 hour per 30 hours worked, and possibility to accumulate hours and roll-over.
• Wholesome vegan meals, free of added salt, oil and sugar, served in our restaurant.
• Housing options may be available as a component.
