Medical Director

For our client, we are seeking a Medical Director to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will support clinical priorities focused on quality, patient-centered outcomes, and effective care delivery. You will collaborate with clinical leaders, operational teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve standards, workflows, and execution. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen care quality, team performance, and measurable outcomes within a healthcare environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $225,000 – $275,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Support client growth and identify value-creation opportunities
• Present data-driven payment policy recommendations to clients
• Define and deliver strategic missions in collaboration with the Client Engagement Leader
• Evaluate and validate medical policy edits and support the Medical Policy team
• Act as a clinical liaison with health plan clients
• Guide research efforts for Medical Policy and Solutions teams
• Drive additional product sales opportunities for the company

Qualifications

• Licensed MD/DO with clinical and health plan experience
• Experience in Health plan operations as a Medical Director, focusing on medical policy, coding, and payment integrity
• Adaptable to rapidly changing priorities with multitasking capabilities
• Strong client relationship skills with the ability to engage across multiple levels
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel skills preferred
