At EndlessDx ( www.endlessdx.com ), we’re building a clinical lab that marries analytical rigor with real-world impact. We are CLIA/CAP-accredited and laser-focused on delivering high-quality LC-MS/MS assays for screening and clinical programs that will change how preventive and precision medicine reach patients.
We are a small, fast-moving team that values speed, frugality, hard work, deep technical growth, and smart, practical science. This is not a sleepy corporate role—this is where you come to build serious grit, gain unparalleled hands-on experience, and accelerate your career. If you love developing robust methods and want your work to power actual patient care—not sit on a shelf—this is the place.
The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, forward-thinking Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our CLIA-certified clinical laboratory. The ideal candidate will perform moderate- and high-complexity testing in accordance with regulatory standards while actively working to refine and automate these workflows. Candidates with an active MLT license are strongly encouraged to apply. If you want to push the boundaries of traditional lab work by integrating Agentic AI and automated systems into daily operations, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Process Automation:
Develop, refine, and relentlessly automate testing and analytical workflows to ensure scalable, repeatable execution.
Clinical Testing:
Perform specimen processing, moderate- and high-complexity testing (after successful training and competency evaluation), and result reporting.
Quality Systems:
Establish, perform, and oversee automated Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) processes, alongside routine calibration and preventive maintenance.
Standard Operating Procedures:
Follow established SOPs for specimen handling and analysis while identifying areas for process improvement.
Compliance & Proficiency:
Conduct proficiency testing in strict compliance with CLIA requirements; deeply understand and practice regulatory compliance.
Troubleshooting & Resolution:
Identify and troubleshoot testing issues, escalate when appropriate, and implement and document corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications
Applicants must
meet one of the following educational requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution; OR
- Associate degree in a laboratory science (chemical or biological science) or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution with experience in a laboratory.
Who We Are Looking For
Smart, fast-learning, and self-managing:
You take initiative, figure things out, and execute without needing micromanagement.
Highly detail-oriented and organized:
You are deeply committed to quality, accuracy, and patient safety in a regulated clinical environment.
Analytical problem solver:
You possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and build systems to prevent issues from recurring.
Ambitious and growth-minded:
You are willing to learn new things, build grit, and make a tangible impact on patient care.
Adaptable team player:
You are flexible in work assignments and schedules, thriving in a dynamic startup environment with strong communication skills.
AI & Automation Mindset:
You have a strong interest in and aptitude for Agentic AI workflows, actively seeking ways to leverage technology to eliminate manual tasks and streamline lab operations.
Let’s build the future of preventive medicine—together.
If you are passionate about laboratory medicine, committed to delivering accurate diagnostic results, and eager to build the automated systems of tomorrow, we encourage you to apply.
