About the Role:

As a Medical Receptionist at UFS Healthcare, you will:

• Work across both our medical reception teams and centralised call centre, supporting patients however they choose to connect with us.
• Deliver high-quality customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our patients at every touchpoint.
• Manage patient bookings, enquiries, and administrative tasks using Zedmed.
• Work in a dynamic environment where responsibilities may vary day to day across both reception and call centre functions.
• Prioritise and manage your workload effectively, contributing to the smooth running of the practice.

This role is based across our 4 Ballarat locations, with weekday hours only (no evenings or weekends). Full-time and part-time hours are available and can be discussed based on your availability.

What You'll Need:

• Previous experience in medical reception is preferred but not essential — full training provided.
• No formal qualification required.
• Experience with Zedmed (or a similar practice management system) is highly regarded.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to build relationships with patients.
• Able to prioritise tasks and manage your own workload effectively across varying duties.
• A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing.
