At Gault Surgery, every patient interaction matters. We are a dedicated specialist practice on the Gold Coast, committed to providing compassionate, personalised care to patients navigating their breast health, melanoma treatment, and general surgical journeys.

We’re looking for a warm, organised and enthusiastic Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join our team.

This is more than answering phones and booking appointments. You will be the welcoming first point of contact for our patients, helping them feel heard, supported, and cared for from the moment they arrive or call our practice.

The role:

• Part-time position: 3–4 days per week

• Flexible finish times are required to support the changing needs of the practice and our surgical schedule

• A vital, varied role involving patient communication, appointment scheduling, and general administrative support in a specialist environment

• Working as part of a collaborative, professional, and supportive team.

• Is approachable and confident communicating with people, even in sensitive situations

• Pays close attention to detail and takes pride in getting things right

• Is a reliable team player who is happy to support colleagues

• Is keen to learn and willing to develop new skills

• Can remain calm, organised, and helpful in a busy, professional environment

• Is flexible and understands that finish times may vary according to practice requirements

Previous medical reception experience is preferred, and knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage. However, if you are a person with the right attitude, empathy, and a genuine willingness to learn, we would love to hear from you.
