Medical Receptionist

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, experienced Medical Receptionist to join our busy primary care team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in administrative support, managing high call volume, uploading documents to charts, insurance verification, prior authorizations, scheduling, and collecting appointment payments. This role demands exceptional communication, outstanding customer service, proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and ability to manage a busy front desk.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the in-office customer experience
• Answering all incoming calls/Outbound Calls
• Scheduling
• EMR Management
• Accurately document and manage patient data using EHR system

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in a high-volume primary care clinic
• EMR
• Phone System
• Schedule manager
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology across multiple specialties (internal medicine, geriatrics, emergency medicine, and surgical procedures)
• Understanding of ICD coding for accurate billing and documentation (preferred)
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining empathy and professionalism
